Signs must be removed within 5 days of the sale or lease of the property. No more than one sign for each lot, except where the lot borders two or more streets, then one sign to each street will be permitted. In non-residential areas, signs shall not exceed 32 square feet for each face, or a total sign area of 64 square feet. In residential areas, signs shall not exceed 6 square feet for each face, or a total sign area of 12 square feet. Signs must be located on the premises for sale, lease, or rent and may not extend over any lot line or be within 15 feet of any vehicle access point to a street. Use the application for the inspection agency you have chosen. Zoning and permit information- Applications for permits. See the zoning ordinance for more information. A temporary certificate may be issued under specific circumstances. Application is made at the same time as the application for a Zoning Permit is filed with the Zoning Officer. Sewer: Public utilities and private sewer systems.Ĭertificate of U and O is required for all work done under a zoning permit, except those issued for tree cutting. Gates for the fence are required and must be self-latching and secured at all times when the swimming pool is unattended. Above ground pools containing walls that have this minimum height restriction and a retractable ladder may be considered meeting this requirement. Pools: Private pools must be completely surrounded by a fence that is at least 48 inches in height. Exemption includes refuse awaiting next regular scheduled waste hauling pick-up service which is contracted by the Township. Rubbish: Owners are responsible to maintain property from accumulation of refuse which includes garbage, abandoned appliances, vehicles, equipment and machinery. Sidewalks and curbs: The Township requires all property owners having sidewalks next to their property to maintain those sidewalks, including repairs and replacements when they do not meet Township standards.
